Editorial policy

This site publishes general information about US tax, entity, and e-commerce topics that CFO International LLC actually works on. It is not a substitute for advice about a specific taxpayer, and it is not a guarantee of result.

Who writes and who reviews

English service pages, guides, and learn articles are written by John Rykoff, CPA unless another author is named. If John wrote the page, we do not emit an independent reviewedBy in schema or a “reviewed by” line that implies a second person.

Sources

Tax and compliance claims that can be sourced are tied to primary authorities close to the claim — for Form 5472, that means the IRS instructions, the international information reporting penalties page, reasonable-cause relief, and IRC § 6501(c)(8) where assessment-period language is used. We do not invent statistics, clients, licenses, or street addresses.

Dates and images

Articles carry a published date and a truthful modified date when the page changes. Where a topic-specific image does not exist, we reuse the firm’s brand image at /assets/img/og.png and document that gap rather than fabricating a picture.

Translations

Localized pages are produced through the firm’s translation pipeline. Machine-translated content has not received independent native-language legal or tax review unless an owner records that review. Selector links must open the matching edition in the selected language, never a different language.
