Privacy Policy

Last updated: 17 August 2026

CFO International LLC ("CFO International," "we," "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what information we collect through this website and how we handle it. The site exists to tell you about our firm, to let you contact us, and to measure — in a privacy-preserving way — whether those pages are useful.

Information we collect

When you submit the contact form, we collect the information you choose to provide:

  • Your name (optional)
  • Your email address (required, so we can reply)
  • Your phone number (optional)
  • The topic you select
  • The message you write

The form also sends the page URL where you submitted it and first-touch UTM campaign fields, if present. Our server associates the inquiry with request metadata used for abuse prevention, delivery, and attribution: source IP address, request path, referring URL, and browser user-agent. This contact record is separate from the anonymous beacon described below.

We do not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for financial details, government identifiers, or other sensitive information through this website. Please do not send sensitive personal or financial information through the contact form.

How we use your information

We use the information to deliver and respond to your inquiry, prevent abuse, route it internally, understand its acquisition source, and maintain reasonable business records. If you become a client, relevant correspondence may become part of the client record. We do not add contact-form information to marketing lists, and we do not sell, rent, or trade it.

Cookies

This website sets no cookies. We use no analytics cookies, no advertising or retargeting pixels, and no third-party trackers. There is no cookie banner because there is no cookie to consent to.

First-party cookieless analytics

We do run a first-party, cookieless analytics beacon on this site. It is not an advertising or retargeting system, and it is not a third-party tracker. The browser sends a small same-origin request to /api/beacon with anonymous events so we can see which pages are used and which calls-to-action are followed.

Events we record, when they occur:

  • Page path and document language
  • Referrer site origin only (for example, https://www.google.com), with its path, query, and fragment removed
  • UTM source, medium, campaign, term, and content from the address bar, if present
  • Screen width
  • Scroll depth at 50% and 90%
  • Clicks on phone, email, service, calculator-to-contact, and client-portal links (the visible label only, up to 40 characters)
  • Whether the contact form was started or submitted — not the contents of the form

We do not record contact-message text, tax-document contents, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other unnecessary personal information in beacon events. The beacon does not set cookies, does not use localStorage as an identity, and does not fingerprint the browser. Country may be stored from the hosting edge when that header is present; we do not store the raw client IP in the event record.

If your browser sends a Do Not Track (DNT) signal, the beacon sends no network events at all. A first-touch UTM note may still be kept in sessionStorage on your device so that, if you later submit the contact form yourself, we can attribute that one inquiry. That note never leaves the browser unless you submit the form.

Beacon events are retained for 180 days and then expire. They are used only to operate and improve this website and to understand qualified inquiries. We do not sell them. Access is limited to the firm's operators and the hosting/analytics systems that store the events.

How your message is delivered and routed

When you submit the form, AWS-hosted systems store the lead record and send the message to our inbox at info@cfointl.com. The source IP is also used by a short-lived rate-limit control. The stored lead record includes the form fields and request/attribution metadata listed above; we use that combined record for inquiry handling, security, and source reporting—not advertising profiling.

An AWS-hosted AI model may process the name, contact details, topic, and message to assign a small internal routing label, confidence score, and one-line summary. That automated classification does not reject the inquiry, decide whether we respond, or send a reply. If classification fails, the inquiry is still stored and delivered without a label. The model usage logs record counts, cost, and the resulting label, not the raw message or contact details.

How long we keep it

Anonymous beacon events expire after 180 days. Contact-form lead records currently have no automatic expiration; we keep them as needed to respond, maintain reasonable business or client records, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations. You may ask us to delete a lead record, subject to records we must retain for legal, professional, security, or client-service reasons.

Your choices

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email info@cfointl.com and we will respond promptly. You can also simply choose not to use the contact form and reach us by phone or email instead.

Children's privacy

This website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and revise the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
